That's terrible advice and would result in more lines of code, which as I said earlier, are bad. The point of libraries is to refactor and not duplicate.
Some frameworks are a bit clunky, I'll give you that.
I can only say, if you aren't making trade-offs between different constraints, are you really doing engineering? But also, if you don't care about some of the constraints are are just shitting out code, are you really doing engineering?
