NPCs on X are trying to tell me I'm stupid for believing this is bad. Obviously they just meant to defend _against_ large scale social deception.

All of this, of course, ignoring the most obvious piece of it: who the hell gave the MILITARY the right to have any say, at all, on what the press says to citizens?
