I can’t even understand what the supposed boundary is.
Surely if Bluesky implemented ActivityPub it would be ok. Some instances and users would block it, but no one would expect it to be opt-in.
What if Bsky operated the bridge? What if the guy worked at Bsky? What if the bridge was recognized as the official one? What if the Bsky CEO said it’s ok?
Is that the problem? If not, how is the bridge different from Bluesky implementing AP?
