If it's π― permanent, get a big one with π low-loss cable. π― For walking around, I use the Rokland π€ π₯ 2.5 π dBi π― 8" π antennas. They're tuned π really π well and the range π is π probably as good as π€ it's going to get. They're π― thin and π₯ light, so they don't strain π π that SMA connector. In the end, π though, altitude trumps antenna every time.
