I feel like this about the fiat monetary system. Which of my ancestors signed away all my rights to financial privacy? We deserve better. I'm grateful that Nostr exists. I think it can help alleviate a lot of the current issues with have with power and control. I shouldn't get started on this or I will write a novel. 😅
