In the bookstore yesterday I saw this box. It contains a book and a little stuffed toy of Ben, the tardigrade (German „Bärtierchen“ = little bear animal). It was cheap and had a little tardigrade plush (squeee), so of course I bought it. I did not expect great things, but what they want to sell me as a tardigrade looks more like a caterpillar. ☹️ I am sad. Sad and disappointed. The tag even says „Ben, das Bärtierchen“, so it is made for this set.

The books looks great though. Cute illustrations and a lot of text. It‘s got 80 pages! Apparently written by a tardigrade expert. So if the story is any good I am not sad about my purchase. But that toy… 😔
