So there's two issues I see for most people. We'll call it order of operation and scalability.
If you don't do it in the right order, starting from a young enough age, you end up with a family and skill sets that don't translate well to high paying remote work.
Not that it's insurmountable, I just know a lot of people who couldn't pull that off without cutting their roots and leaving their family. At least I haven't discovered a generic duplicatable method yet.
I agree with the book choice though. 👌
