Gentleman in his late 80s was upset he couldn’t call his wife in Kansas on WhatsApp. Was yelling at the bartenders who had got his phone on WiFi. He thought the cause was his phone number wasn’t working. I intervened, explained if he was on WiFi, phone number didn’t matter. I pulled up a browser and typed test (it worked), he protested he didn’t use Google. Turned out the answer was to turn his phone off and on. The bartenders were grateful for my help, poured me another scotch.
