the vibe i am getting from these replies is that we need a set of John Mastodon alts on a bunch of instances and we need to develop the lore of John Mastodon to also sorta have them be a mild grifter that insinuates they invented every fedi software and also has an insatiable hunger for itunes gift cards. i would also like to propose that John Mastodon is a hemideity that doesn't really understand earthly money, so they know they need to get it and by watching earth culture have determined itunes gift cards are the only currency accepted worldwide, but they constantly betray that they don't know what one uses them for
