A downside of the pickle barrels is that I just got covered with pickle entrails (garlic & dill, mostly) left in the barrel, and expelled quickly by the garden hose's power sprayer... I guess it's better than the alternative, though (sheep dip or industrial chemicals)... Might put some mint leaves in to soak for a while - I've got a couple weeks to wait for the rest of the gear...
