We here in our little bubble often have no idea about the extent of support and affirmation that the fiat scene receives.
Just take a look at the CBDC discussions on LinkedIn. It's mainly about cash advocates versus CBDC advocates. Sometimes you scroll through 90 comments only to realize that not one of these NPCs has mentioned Bitcoin even once. They only care about 'something tangible' versus 'something virtual.' It's not about sound money or anything like that.
When I see something like this, I often act like the elephant in the china shop and shout, 'Hey, are you all out of your minds? Discussing how you want to be robbed best?'
The situation on social media is just as tragic. Those who are banned turn into freedom fighters with their backup accounts or desperately try to lure their followers from Twitter to Instagram. It's really pathetic.
One thing is for sure: We are not early; we are few. And alone. And that will remain the case for a long time once things really start to heat up.
