I'm so sick and tired of authors pretending that they create works because they want them be read or seen by other people and not because they want to earn money and yet they complain when people can have access to those works to really appreciate and value them.
If authors don't have anything to communicate to the outside world, if they don't want their ideas to be spread and their works to be appreciated as they think they should be - well, just become an accountant or a bullshit seller. Art needs to be appreciated before being valued.
If you think in the year 2025 anyone is going to pay for your "art" before getting the chance to really appreciate it, then you're kidding yourself. In this day and age, copyright just creates friction for other people to really VALUE your art. Why? Because attention is SCARCE.
