Back before I was a furry, I was a proud Brony. Some eleven years ago, I worked with folks to create a pony radio/video/con-coverage network called Ponyville Live. I did all the coding for it and was very proud of it.
In late 2015, I left the project and stopped maintaining the site. I had handed the keys to another team for mental health reasons, and they decided to just keep the site without me on it.
Lacking any devs to work on it, they just kept it online as it was, in a state of suspended animation. No patches, no security fixes, no OS updates, just an untouched, unpatched server running for years now.
Now it's 2023. PHP 5.4, which it was built on, has been unsupported for 7 years. Ubuntu 14.04 is unsupported now, too. The site doesn't even use HTTPS, as it wasn't widespread in radio back then.
As a museum piece, maybe it has some novelty, but for god's sake, whatever you do, don't actually use it these days. It's a shame the state they've let it decay into.
