I constantly stumble upon this type of website, mostly involuntarily. I can try to avoid them, but my point stays: the web has become riddled with pointless obstacles, and it's exhausting.

Everywhere I go, there needs to be effort added, and time wasted, to avoid things instead of enjoying the media. For example, on Mastodon I might have more than one hundred filters, to avoid the vast amount of stuff I'm not interested in.

RSS and email are my only safe spaces now.
