During the whole year of 2023, I have seen like 3 #ads online. Not even joking. But I have to remind myself that I'm living in an alternative online world just because I have the means to do so.

Do you want to stop seeing ads, and regain online privacy? It's super easy, especially for average people!!! You just have to self-host a DNS-Blocker with a bunch of custom filter-lists that you find on Github, re-configure your router, switch to Firefox and configure Adnauseum, Libredirect, Sponsorblock, search for alternative frontends and find a stable instance or self-host it, sideload alternative apps on your phone, sideload alternative apps on your TV, look for security audits of all the sketchy apps you are using now, Migrate away from as many adtech platforms as possible by no longer using facebook, google, whatsapp (platform effects are super easy to overcome)
Of course, by doing that, you'll have to do a lot of stuff yourself now, like self-hosting a bunch of stuff (Everybody knows how to set up a Raspberry Pi, especially the average Kindergarten teacher or medical worker); Set-up paperless-ngx with Docker, Set-up a scheduled client-side encrypted backup to a cloud provider. Create a glibbiglobby superdibbedy DERP service and flabble all the LEETPACKETS.

And then, keep all that shit up-to-date and act fast in case of errors.

SUPER EASY, EVERYBODY SHOULD DO IT

(this is satire, in case it wasn't obvious)
