We have a field station in the forest about an hour's drive from the city center. I occasionally run into the ant people, but I don't really chat much about the ants
I've encountered Dinomyrmex plenty of times during field work. They're surprisingly docile, plenty of ants that will sting on a moments notice but these just run around. I guess intimidating size is enough deterrence
