In all fairness, Alexios feels his safest when he's in the company of his chooms, and it doesn't matter where they might be. His gang means the most to him, and he would feel safe alongside any of the members. They're all that he needs. Cosmia, Junk, Dante, Trick, Rain, Aero, Fenris, Astria, etc. They're the only family he has anymore, and he would do /anything/ for them, as would they for him as well.
In a similar way, of course, he also feels incredibly safe when he's in Trick's arms. That man could and would fight to the death for him, and the sentiment is more than returned on Alexios' part as well. They found love by accident. Look how far they've come together.
