here’s a food that’s underrated: baked potatoes. no one talks about baked potatoes because they take no special equipment, no special skills, no special ingredients, they look boring, and nothing happens. you just poke them with a fork and put them in an oven for 1.5hrs. then cut them open, add butter/salt, maybe some cheese and/or sour cream, and you’ve got a hearty, nutritious, **delicious**, cheap meal.
it’s January. it’s cold. do yourself a favor and bake some potatoes.
