Has even one journalist followed up on the lies Trump and his apparatchiks told during the campaign about, well, everything?

Example: Trump insisted he didn't know anything about Project 2025, wanted nothing to do with its creators, and wouldn't follow it. Lies don't get bigger than that one.

Naturally, journalists did stenography at the time. Just once could they tell their audiences they let themselves (as always) be suckered?
