And it's telling that the people who are working on the tech at Anduril, Palantir, and the like are all LOTR and sci-fi fanboys who probably think that's what war is actually like. It should be a requirement that anyone who works in the military sector to have served a tour; if that were the case, we would probably see much less spend in that area.
