I get overwhelmed sometimes. Like at galleries. I remember walking into the Monet room in Chicago and my head nearly exploded. Even the gift shop was sensory overload.
I enjoy small connections of work, like a photography exhibition but a single person. When camera clubs hold events and fill a hall with hundreds of photos from hundreds of people, it feels like too much. Too disconnected. It scratches my brain like nails on a chalk board. There's no thread to follow, just competing visions.
