Here's a debating tip: you don't always have to give a response to an argument immediately, whether online or offline, especially if you don't already have a proper response backed up with facts and logical reasoning. Answering too quickly without a proper rebuttal will just make you and whatever you're arguing in favor of look foolish. It's better to take a long time to formulate a logical and evidence-based argument than to splurt out an incoherent and poorly thought-out argument.
