2/ Historically we see second term presidents lose representatives and senators in their party anyway. Overall America doesn't seem happy with the way MAGA and Republicans have been anyway so I don't see that changing. But Democrats REALLY shot themselves in the foot with focusing on establishment politicians. While I may not have been a fan of Bernie either (I am not really a fan of any politician) he would have at least heavily won the elections for Democrats but shot themselves in the foot
