I've been away for awhile, so more photos than music. It's always good to get home.

Shinya Fukumori is a Japanese drummer and composer. This is, for me the standout track from his album for ECM. Absolutely beautiful stuff that takes the DNA of jazz, splices it to music from a different tradition and makes something wholly new.
