More details about the endeavour air crash. One of the pilots was indeed an inexperienced woman. I've heard in other places that radio communication coming from the plane was in a man's voice, so the woman was likely the pilot-flying.
According to the video there was a crosswind, so the plane was rolled ~10º to the right on approach to account for it. Just before landing the pilot was supposed to roll back left but failed to do so, so the right landing gear struck first with the entire weight of the plane coming down on it. It failed and the wing struck the ground, disintegrating.
The left wing was still generating lift so it rolled the entire plane further right, shearing off the remainder of the right wing and sending the whole thing rolling down the runway, ultimately killing the left wing too.
