My favorite Who album by a large margin. It's Townshend's 3rd opera, and this one is both more ambitious and humanistic than his last—Tommy—with great themes, and the whole thing just flows incredibly well.
The story of Jimmy is sad and well observed… everyone's at the top of their game.
