OK OK OK "privacy" how to accomplish it on the "ethernet" is it real is it a fugazi foogasi phgaysi ? Cybersecurity nerds geeks and tweekers listening up here we've all seen the McAfee videos blah blah blah then zeroday tailsOS this coin that coin xmr facial recognition iris scanning sha256 the damn story never ends! But check it out Ill get serious here with this break down if your knowledgeable on this subject please feel free to correct me.
So in the world of digital computers "security" means "protection" from an "adversary" if your adversary knows everything about you that means you have no "privacy"...can we agree on that?
So we all know the story alice and Bob blah blah blah right ?
So you notice I said if your adversay knows everything you have no privacy so your adversay is looking to abuse you is someway steal your coin ramsom you serve you unwanted ads or locate you and kill you based on your meta data anything is possible...he's looking for exploits when he find the exploits he can gain information on you. But gaining the info takes time and effort. Basically it takes time to be completely rekt' . So you'll find these ppl that take cyber security super duper serious life or death. I'm gonna break these ppl down. 1 guys basically trying to scare you to sell you a firewall. The other guys a retard at work just mentioning BC corporate said he has to mention it. And the last guy actually trying to educate you just incase you ever wanna/need to do it. I'm the last guy. So cyber security is like boxing. Maybe you know the saying " you can't play boxing" this is because boxing is not a game. So let's take one many100thousands of cyber situations for example ppl vs the state. Or unorganized unsophisticated ppl vs organized sophisticated ppl. The organized ppl will always right right ? Correct. But now with computers it's like guns it does level the playing field. But the problem is the team will only be good as it weakest link. If everyone on our team is a cyber giga chad running tails with encrypted coms and homebrew hardware and all this stuff but if one guy makes a mistake and one day one email links to his clear net identity now it's basically the whole team is phucked all the ovileteen generals problem bs just went out the window. So what's the point by even try achieving any privacy Google Facebook Microsoft knows everything they always knew they will always know that all ready did all the work to rek' us. They abuse exploits and profit from our data. This is true. But in the long run over time. If we all just make tiny small changes we can go from unorganized to organized. It's gonna take time but it's probably worth it BC its the optimistic. We've got nothing to loose you see? So why not just take it one step at a time. Change your browser? Check out different communication software open source IOT. But thats why nostr is cool BC it seems like a good portion of just already know this. But if you didn't know just start reading about it or watch videos. It's interesting to find out how valuable information can actually be. But to answer the question at the top I would say "yes" privacy is possible by a determined small group against the larger group looking to identify them. But the technology land scape is changing and soon it will be possible for all of us.
