I suppose my point is that at least as presented in outline (and I appreciate an outline can't provide elaborate detail), it seemed quite a leap to go from the "this affects that" to "all of that derives from this".
I find it fascinating that we can vocalize sounds that deeply affect others' moods and behaviors. And while genes may affect this at some level, I am (personally) skeptical that it can be reduced to a genetic explanation.
