Brand new leaves on a small crepe myrtle transplant that I’d given up for dead and just hadn’t gotten around to pulling up yet. It was chugging along and making new leaves, and then after a late hard freeze it appeared to be entirely dead for months. I went out today, and it’s suddenly covered with fresh leaves. One just never knows with plants. They do things when they are good and ready and not a moment before. #gardening #bloomscrolling #flowers #nature
