Exactly! Although I think free speech is a basic human right that is not owned by any political side, as

But now it became this conservative dog whistle as you mentioned, I think there is no solution to this, humans seem to have a tendency to distort everything in the long term.
For instance, I think the Christians today are far different than the Christians of 2 thousand years ago, and this distortion process goes on and on throughout fields.
