imagine asking an api for /user/4 and you got back HTTP 404 instead of { Error: 123, Message: 'User not found' }

spend a day debugging. you typo'd it as /usr/4 and had no idea there is a difference between

HTTP 404 "you failed to ask a question i know"

HTTP 404 "this was an empty dataset"

because this is the future RESTful people want.
