On the outside I resemble an old white dude - mostly because I am an old white dude. Who's also bi and going steadily left politically, although more accurately I just happen to care about people in general.
By day I'm a web developer. I enjoy it and I'm very good at it (within certain parameters).
By night, I am mostly a writer of genre-fluid SF, Fantasy, Steampunk and Steampunk Erotica featuring diverse female MCs and side-characters.
I self-publish because life's too short to wait for the dubious approval of self-appointed gatekeepers. I sell a lot of books, and get good ratings for everything.
In the past I have painted in oils, sculpted in clay, written poetry, composed music and written film/TV scripts.
Nowadays, apart from writing, I engage my visual imagination by creating images using Daz3D, sometimes scenes from my books, sometimes scenes that could be a book, and sometimes just pure imagination.
