Why do you think so many people who want to lose some weight¹ are conditioned to think about exercise first, when the most straightforward way to lose body fat is to reduce your caloric intake, or in plain language eat (moderately) less?
Because there's money to be made in selling gym memberships, running shoes, and nutritional supplements.
There's no money to be made in selling people less food.
