A second young boy in Cambodia has been confirmed sick with H5N1 and a further 29 people are awaiting the results of blood tests. In most of these cases, the concern is that they ate infected fowl. What is interesting about that is if it is confirmed that eating an infected animal can result in infection (cow milk ingestion appears to be confirmed), then we may have a case where cooked animal meat can still cause infection.
