#OTD 23 August 1873 Arvid Edvard Fors was born in Vårdinge parish, Stockholm County. As a young man, he joined the Swedish Navy and served from the base at Skeppsholmen from 1891 to 1899. He stayed in the area, but was not well tracked in the complicated Stockholm records. In 1909, he was added to the missing persons book. He has eluded me for years. When his mother, my great-great-grandmother, died in 1922, he was not listed as an heir. Did his family know what happened to him?
