The banks of the Sava River in Sisak, Croatia, near the triangular fort where the battle of Sisak was fought between the Austrians and the Ottomans in 1593. Sisak is smallish, about 40,000 people, and I spent the day wandering around (mostly walking out to the fort and back) on a cool fog-shrouded day. Last full day in Croatia.
