kravietz 🦇 (npub1vz5…qdta) It certainly seems like a tax on imports based on the CO2 intensity of the production method is warranted. I can see that this could be difficult to calculate accurately. (Need some economists to chime in here). Perhaps import tariffs on all energy-intensive products regardless of the carbon intensity of the producing country is an easier way to start? Or maybe a tariff only on those countries that don't have the equivalent of your ETS?
