This thread is on two different species, the #nativeplants Krigia virginica (dwarf dandelion) and the introduced Taraxacum officionale. Pic below is the native plant.
The leaves and flowers of the dwarf dandelion are smaller than common dandelion but the flower stalks are quite long. Also, the dwarf dandelion is an annual and don’t produce tuberous roots.
