This last week I’ve fallen down the rabbit hole and explored the importance of mythology/myths and folklore (especially European) when it comes to creating culture. Shared myths and legends are the backbone of culture, and culture builds civilization. When you understand the myths and stories of a society, you understand its values and virtues. Good mythologies foster good civilizations.
