adjusting to a new payment system is gonna cost them and maybe also they are gonna have an expectation that people who pay with it have more money
from what i've seen it is pretty common that you pay more to use bitcoin everywhere it is accepted
i say encourage them, the more they see it used the more they stop applying a premium
