So, the problem was pretty obvious, though I am not sure if it's the only problem. The parentId of the replies is always set to the first comment, not the actual parent comment. Unless you’re replying to the first comment, then it’ll be correct.

But here’s the catch: if you’re replying to the last reply in a nested reply chain, it’ll set the parentId to the first reply in the first level. #dev
