The DOWNSIDE of this... IPv6... The gateway generates prefixes and announces it to the vms... how am I gonna do that with another router (the host) in the way? Proxy RA/NDP?
Oh I know. DHCPv6. Mikrotik simply delegates a /64 prefix to the host on request... host applies it to the vm bridge, boom done, SLAAC does its thing. Smart.
