Widespread flash flooding in Fife yesterday. For every 1C the planet’s temperature rises the atmosphere holds 7% more water. This isn’t evenly distributed across the globe. Higher volumes of rain here are extremely likely long term. It’s time to seriously consider region-wide flood planning and decarbonisation of our own lifestyles as well as measures to save our housing. We can’t afford to wait but also Fife can’t solve this problem on its own. #StormGerrit #ClimateDiary
