Often, I find myself thinking about complicated, existential issues that are so gargantuan, so difficult to frame within the tiny context of our lives, that I find myself overwhelmed. Growing authoritarianism. Income inequality. Climate change. Genocidal violence. Even the efficacy of an online writing platform. The scale of it all is so beyond our comprehension that it loses any relevance to the random Tuesday in which we find ourselves.
