i wish a major newspaper or a reporter would re-report on the 5G rollout that happened in the US, and the bidding process for which company got to provide the radio equipment for each carrier.

i am not sure it was widely reported or understood, but the US intelligence community widely understood that Chinese 5G radio equipment was/could arrive pre-loaded with access backdoors.
