Thank you #Freedesktop for being a standard that open-source desktops can strive to meet. Working on #Lomiri and seeing what happens when a corporation completely flouts standards makes me realize just how important said standards are for a competitive yet interoperable desktop experience.
(I still love Lomiri, but I am not blind to its flaws. Blame Canonical, not UBports.)
