Had to explain to an out of state customer from Oregon why we have to charge him state sales tax because our shitty state makes us and then he said something along the lines of "You should be thankful to have sales tax funding your public programs, we have no sales tax in Oregon and it causes all sorts of funding problems". I nearly bit my tongue off stopping myself from saying "So that's why you believe your state is a shithole? Lack of a sales tax?".
