So poor old Pas de Calais is getting drenched again.
It has had *27 days of flood alerts* since 3Nov23.
Areas have recorded ~400mm of rainfall.
Other areas of France have also been flooded, notably Charente.
Overall there is a lot of flooding happening, but with cruel irony, many of the badly depleted water-tables and aquifers, are in areas which are not getting these high volumes of rain.
