People have been talking about Start Packs, but another thing I'm seeing as a useful feature on BlueSky is "moderation lists". You can create a list of accounts and hashtags that automate blocking by subscribing to the moderation list. As new users get added to the list they are automatically blocked.

I think this is something the Fediverse should look to implement as well. We can even take it a step further and make this something that can be adopted at the instance or user level. So instances can opt in to automated block lists of known bad servers and users and individual users can do the same.
