Again, the JPEG is not the point.
There's a difference between the digital signature (whican cannot be copied) and the IPFS link to a jpeg (which can be copied).
It's the signature that matters. Again, not the art. What we "attach" to what that signature means is the value - and it is THERE the opportunity lies.
There have been TONS of scams - and 99% of them are the fault of the person getting scammed because they signed a transaction that gave the scammer contract rights.
The tech works just fine. It's human behaviour that causes problems. There have been more than enough BTC scam, DeFi/swap attacks, and centralised servers that are the reason for regulations popping up - not the BAYCs stolen from rich idiots who don't know how to manage their own keys.
